Deluxe bars in TN

Yes. Our state Govt. Is offering luxury bars to it's citizens. Very good progress. On providing such a facility Govt wants to rob the middle class further. It will be comfortable for drunkards of middle to visit frequently and will not feel the pinch. Good governance. Let them keep it up! WEREVGO.

Jwelary shops

Go to any leading gold jwellary shop . While purchase you will be charged for the whole weight of the article u buy including the stones , plastics, etc. used in the ornaments. It means they charge u the vale of gold for all non gold portion of the ornament! They will say it trade practice. In the same shop when u go for returning the same gold ornament u purchased from them, they will do all the calculation and value it for exact gold content excluding all those particles other than gold contained therein!! It is said to be the trade practice. Do not the trader have their own conscience to do justice. They have made a cartel of jewelers and dictate this unfair practice on the people.
So long the buyer is not bothered why they be bothered of all these practices. They go building more and more shops every year. Who is going to ask them?WEREVGO?

Pouring petrol in burning fire. The statements of former supreme court judge V.R.Krishna Iyer and Former acting Justice of Madras High Court K.Narayana Kurup have displayed their affinity to their mother land by issuing highly inflammatory statements on the issue . It will further drive the wedge between the States which is running in high emotions. Being the members of high profile judicial fraternity they should not have expressed such statements. They are not qualified at all to say that dam is weak, when so many technical reports have confirmed the safety of the dam number of times. They have also stated that the lease may be repudiated by Kerala. Instead of properly advising Kerala Gove to follow the verdict of various court these filthy elements have tried to nurtue their regional affinity by issuing such irresponsible statements, using the words 'alarming condition of he dam','kearala should harden it's stand','repudiate the treaty','the dam has develed cracks','posing three to35 lac people','if dam has breached....' etc., . Is this expected of these people. WEREVGO?

Using plastic bags

Everyone of us is aware of the dangers to our environment by using plastic carry bags in our daily use. We see with our very eyes how it is polluting our surroundings.so many bans are imposed by govts in various parts of the country, but not being implemented seriously by anyone. Consciously everyone seems to be more comfortable in using these products than to discard them willfully, though it is confirmed that sufficient damage is done to nature .it is to be remembered that something is to be done by by stringent legislation at the state level to see that straight away these products are not used anymore compulsorily. For example TN during the last tenure of the present CM imposed mandatory conditions to install rain water harvesting compulsory for building approval by the authorities concerned and it yielded very good results in improving the water table all over the state. In the same lines the state should indiscriminately take steps to stop production of those platic products that damage environments and implement it with iron hand. Then only our people get accustomed using the alternates. Once practiced for a year it will get accustomed. There are so many experts in our country who can offer a real substitute immediately viable commercially. It will be the only right gesture to our next generation.

Why so many banks

Banking is an essential service. The principles /policies of these bank must be unanimous , common to all the banks. the guidelines prescribed by the Govt/regulator is also common. Then why so many bank in different banners to extend the same type of services under same prescribed guidelines. Each bank competing each other overriding one another in extending services nothing more than the other competitor. How much money is being wasted in maintaining different brand name. Say for example only ATM is capable of handling the operations of ten ATMs set up by ten different banks under the banner of each bank in the same locality. So also number of branches clustered in same locality by different banks. What the cost of different administrative set up of different banks?
Instead why not merge all the nationalized banks into one Banking Corporation of India to operate all over the country. Is LIC of India is not working successfully.
Further each bank is having separate unions for officers and clerical staff. In the name of union a big chunk of employees both in clerical and officers are not doing any banking operations and treading like parasites on each bank. This can be reduced by the merger.
Moreover by dispensing entire cash operations all over the country and insisting of routing through bank accounts the time and energy being spent on cash management in banks can be reduced and it can be used in strengthening the economy.
Maintaining single banking corporation will save heavily on the advertisement now being issued by each different bank. So also good amount saving can be ensured in common stationary.
Though this proposal is being opposed by the unions it necessary to make them realise by educating them properly for a time bound implementation .

Exams for recruitment in Public Sector Banks

I find the following in bank recruitment exams.
1. Immediate probe required into the recriutment process. It is big question mark whether the candidates selected in the exams are AT RANDOM or by their performance because very many of the selected candidate are of very poor quality. Is there anything fishy like TNPSC?
2. Public sector banks are make very huge profits . Further the profits are multiplying yearafter year. Then why such high fees is levied for the exams. Say for example more than a million have appeared for the clerical test. Fees is Rs.400 for general category and 250 for reserved category. How many millions are being pocketed from the candidates who are already unemployed. Can't it be shared by the public sector banks.
3. Since it is a money spinning exercise banks now found a loophole and go on their own recruitment for special category officers/clerks. Now again the poor unemployed has to spare separately for each bank exam in addition to PSBRB . Is it justified? One can imagine the magnitude of the money flowing . For a vacancy of 25 specialist officers in a PSB more than a lac candidates have applied . It is for one PSB. How many PSBs are there . How much money is being swindled?

What the hell politicians in the states of TN and Kerala are doing. It is very very bad to smash the bakery of a keralite in Coimbatore or chennai. So also disturbing the Sabarimalayatra of the pilgrims. There is no right minded people to address the problem? Is there any dam break occurred anywhere in the world? Why Kerala Govt. Is raising such an illusion among it's citizens and arousing their bad emotions?
See the reactions of seasoned (said to be) politician Mr. Vaiko . Is it not ugly for him to instigate people like this. Majority of the general public who raise their voice in both the state mostly do not know what for they are being used. They go on aggrevating the problem. Is our country is so in dearth of right minded leaders to make the two CMs of the two states to tread on right direction. How foolish it is to say that the dam will burst and endanger the public. The brick and mortar dam built by Karikalan the chola king some thousand years back is functiong very well. Since Karnataka is refusing proper share of water to TN is it right to say KRS dam will burst and damage TN and demand breaking it? How these peole find out such insensitive solutions to problems and what to say about it's supporter? WERVGO?

Why so many ATMs

Our banking is fast progressing in technology. Use of ATMs is one such development. One can see numerous ATMs put up in clusters. Say in one street or commercial locality there is so many ATMs each belonging to different banks . Actually only one machine can handle all the transactions being done by all the ATMs in the locality put together. But for the brand name and publicity ,each bank is spending public money indiscriminately. The cost of one ATM is nearly thirty lacs and the recurring cost is not less than thirty thousand per month. Imagine the magnititude of expenditure banks are wasting for publicity without any use to the public.
Further the ATMs can be used for multivarious banking activities. But in India we are using it only for withdrawing money. Few private banks are using them for depositing also .if all the banks use all hir ATMs for whatever utilities they are compatible then it will be saving good amount of time and money . Who and how the public is going to be educated? WEREVGO?

Pawar slapped

It's only a symptom of rejection. The outburst of prolonged neglect . The authorities concerned still refuse to read the message. Respectable Prime Minister says he does not understand the reason for such a behavior . If he cannot understand then it is his ignorance and fault. It will make the neglected to resort to some more serious reactions.. Even well qualified , educated , pragmatic persons like or PM, just because they are in politics react like this for the sentiments of citizens.

Water mafia of Bangalore

Recently developed areas of Bangalore like C.V.Raman Nagar,Indra Nagar etc., are flooded by high rise apartments and thickly populated by IT personnel. These apartments are raised by realters commercially and sold out long back . Tha maintenance of these flats are in the hands of Flat Owners Associations. Most of the members of these associations are also IT personnel who let out them and they live elsewhere. Hence the regular maintenance are almost abandoned and the tenants do it of their own.
The water supply to these areas are in the hands of water mafia operating in those areas. They manage to see that either water lines are not laid or water is not supplied in the water line, so that the residents are compelled to purchase water at very high price from the members of this water mafia. The local representative of the Corporation, water supplier make a cartel and hold the residents at ransom. Immediately on one fine morning they will declare the cost one container of water supplied in tractor from the bore well in the very same locality. The residents who do not care to throw away the money demanded by these thugs, have to pay the price. If some owners refuse to pay they have to go without water. How long they can sustain? They are mostly migrants from other states and they are not in anyway equal to fight with the mafia.this is going on for more than a decade and each household is spending more than 3k every month for water alone and the mafia is making easy money in millions. When copious water is available in the bore well of the same locality sufficient enough for sale in tractors how is that there is no sufficient water in the new borewells being laid by the residents of their own? Here also the mafia see that the Borewell are not dug beyond a particular depth. The corporation is in slumber as they are all time busy with their own money spinning tactics.
Added to this the worstest roads, the unreasonable cost of living etc ., make a horrible living for the middle class. The city traffic is not at all regulated by anyone . Whatever be the rush the vehicle drivers have to regulate themselves. The roads havenot the metal liad for a long time and they are worst than a countryside. Dust is spread over anywhere and everywhere. Every one here seems to be waiting for a chance
to fleece the public at their will. Simple question they will ask is 'who asked you to come here'.

Black money

In indian economy black money is said to have serious consequences. So many people in the higher eclon preach so many things to save india from the I'll effects of black money. The popular Tamil cinema Sivaji speaks the means (but foolish) to use black money usefully. Our economists, policy makers, politicians know much about this and also the ways and means to arrest but do not take effective steps . Why?
First of all stop all cash transactions. Let any purchase/sale even of a Pepsi be done through bank account or card and get the tax to the Govt cut there itself. No further income tax , no filing of return, no exemptions etc ., etc.,. It will reduce circulation of currency and in turn forged/counterfeit currency. Pakistan cannot meddle with our currency. Huge Income Tax Department is not required. Auditors needn't be engaged. They may be used for some other useful things.
Coming to banks of our country, one can see every bank branch having separate cash department, receiving bundles and bundles of currency notes , counting, sorting, transfers, currency chests etc. So many people engaged everyday in handling this heap of currency. Cash management takes most of the time and cost of running the bank branch. Is it worth while? If cash transactions are stopped the bank branches can devote more for developmental activities.
One can see how effectively banks are being used in other countries and every transaction being done through the bank account. Then why it is not being taken up in our country. We talk much on this but do nothing . May be because we do not want to eliminate black money. Politicians can have stuff to talk about in the elections . They can go on blaming each other for the ills of black money. Majority of the citizens think it is not their cup of tea. Someone may do something, sometime. WEREVGO?

Indian agriculture

So much is said about the present pathetic conditions of indian agriculture, but nothing is done effectively to save it. Huge monies are being allocated in the Govt. Plans. But the farmers sufferings continue unabated. Most of the farm lands are getting out of agriculture either by land grabbing by realters or sold out by the farmers themselves as they cannot continue their farming activity.
In such a big country why there is no one to address the problem.
Govt thinks it is enough if the funds are allotted and got spent. It is not bothered whether it has reached the needy. At last it will trumpet it's achievement by it's statistics.
Banks which play a major role in uplifting the agriculture is satisfied with giving only loan against gold ornaments to agriculturists. Various schemes of farm credit being announced are only in the paper. The people manning bank branches who have to really deliver the goods to farm sector are averse to extend any credit to the farmer under the guise that it will become NPA immediately. But they are ready to give thousands of crores to Vijay Mallya and hang behind him for years to recover. A farmer who wants money to raise food grains for the society has to mortgage his wife's manga sutra for a bank loan. Since jewel loan to agriculture is considered as lending to farm sector under RBI norms banks simply restrict credit to farm sector with agriculture jewel loan and show the statistics to Govt and RBI, who close their eyes and be happy with the statistics.

Reeve Bank of India who monitors the performance of banks does not want to go deep into it and stops with checking the prescribed 18%of total advances going to priority sector but not with the real performance.

Hence the farmer gets nothing and his woes continue to take his life. There so many big people in this country. But why no one is taking
fruitful steps in this area? What our next generation is going to eat? If sufficient food grains are not there what will they eat? Will here be any
alternates be invented ? WEREVGO?

Black flag demonstration to Rahul Gandhi

Recently some members of Samajwadi party demonstrated against Rahul Gandhi and showed black flag to him in his public meeting. It is purely a silent demonstration. But the reaction of Congress stalwarts there who trumphet themselves as pure Gandhians have immediately bounced upon the demonstrators , beat them blue. Police who have to show their loyalty to the ruling govt. Jumped into immediate action, joined with the congress bigwigs in thrashing the demonstrators. All these are shown in Tv9.
We are proud of being considered as a democratic country. We are having so many human right actinists. Tv shows every details of the offenders. Why such a worst behaviour is being allowed to be done in this counrtry? Why no other Tv channels are not showing this type of atrocity? Do they justify it? Do they expect alms from Rahul or from the Congress Govt.? What people like ABJ Abdul Kalam, Anna Hazaare etc etc are doing? they do not want the wrath of Govt.
If this is allowed to go like this it will lead to situation like west asian country where the dictators with brute force were thrown out like scrap. Rahul is nothing before the public if they arise against him. Our rulers know very well of this situation, but refuse to take lession. Or they think that they can go on so far they are allowed to go and face whatever comes then. The offenders are not afraid of anything . The courts will act only when they are asked to.! Otherwise they will be satisfied with their pound of flesh by way of their sumptuous salary, perks etc.
